Buchu Leaves

Buchu is a low shrub native to the Cape region of South Africa. The dried leaves are harvested, and an essential oil is obtained by steam distillation.
It is a traditional herbal medicine that may be used in any infection of the genito-urinary system, such as cystitis, urethritis and prostatitis. It also soothes and strengthens the urinary system.
